Chloe Kim Wins Burton U.S. Open Halfpipe; Elena Hight Second

With perfect weather and an immaculate halfpipe, the women’s finals were one for the books. 16-year-old defending champion Chloe Kim (87.12) saw what the competition had to offer and threw down a frontside 1080 that no one could match. Chloe’s riding was so consistent that she actually improved her score on each of her three runs, finishing seven points ahead of second-place finisher Elena Hight (80.12). Rounding out the podium was 17-year-old Maddie Mastro. Take a look at these finals highlights to get a taste of what went down.
