WTA: Serena Wins..Again

World No.1 Serena Williams captures her 4th straight title with an impressive 61 63 win over Victoria Azarenka at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia.

The current Wimbledon, US Open and Olympic champion dominated the play from the start and broke her opponent 4 times as she took the first set 6-1. Azarenka was unsuccessful in holding any of her serve as the only game she won was by break Serena.

This is Serena’s 51st WTA tour title and she has also taken revenge of the Doha loss that she had to face against her Bulgarian opponent. This was 31-year-old American’s 12th win in 14 matches against Azarenka.

Serena has now increased her winning streak to 24 matches and won her 5th title this year.  Next up, Roland Garros Paris.
