WSEN Founder & President Denise Saul Honored at Our Gang Coat & Toy Drive

NewYork City – December 18, 2012

Women’s Sports & Entertainment Network Founder & President Denise J. Saul was honored at the 7th annual Our Gang Coat and Toy Drive.  Ms. Saul was presented with the “Key to the Heart Award” which is presented each year to the person(s) who distinctly gives of themselves to help individuals and communities.

Rita Haywood of RH Sports Management and WNBA/NY Liberty Legend Teresa Weatherspoon holds this annual event to collect coats and toys for families and children in need in the New York City area.

The evening was filled with honorees and celebrity guests, including R & B songstress, Monifah Carter of BET’s R & B Divas and J Rome from Duets.  Other honorees included:  Celebrity Photographer Rowena Husbands (Blink of an Eye Photography), Music Producer Jerry Duplessis (CEO Wonda Music), and Pastor Kelvin Delosangeles.

About Our Gang Coat & Toy Drive…

The goal of our annual “Our Gang” event is to collect coats and toys for families and children in need in the New York City area, while bringing attention to various organizations that can use our assistance in order to better serve their communities. We desire to bring back dreams and hope to lives once scarred, while using our words, actions and deeds to encourage and transform. With the occurrence of Hurricane Sandy, many are especially in need this year.
