The Chicago Sky made franchise history by clinching their first WNBA playoff berth, reaching the postseason for the first time in its eight-year history. The Sky will face either Indiana or Washington in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Fever and Mystics have identical records entering their season finales on Sunday.
With a 24-10 record this season, the Sky secured the best record in the East and second best overall record (Lynx 26-8) giving them home court advantage for the first two rounds of the playoffs.
The Sky made franchise history Friday, August 23 after capturing their first playoff berth in Sky history. The Sky, who entered the WNBA Eastern Conference in 2006, has had quite the journey in their eight years in the league.
