WCBB Division II: Shaw University Women Win First Ever National Championship

It was an exciting overtime battle between the No.1 seeded Ashland Eagles and the No. 2 seeded Shaw Lady Bears, both teams making their first-ever appearance in a NCAA Championship game, 88-82 was the final.

Aslea Williams added 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Kyria Buford had 10 points for the Lady Bears (29-6), who erased an 11-point halftime deficit.

Ashland committed 21 turnovers.
