The US Women’s National defeated the number one ranked team in the world to advance to their fourth World Cup final. The US defended beautifully in this match en route to dismantling Germany 2-0. The U.S. defense has not allowed a goal in five games, 513 shut-out minutes.
The U.S., which hasn’t won a World Cup since 1999, will play for the title on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET, facing either fourth-ranked Japan or sxith-ranked England.
