The heat is on her way to Kansas. Brooklyn, NY native Heather Hardy has announced that she will be crossing over into MMA and has signed a deal with Invicta FC, the all-women’s promotion. Invicta FC has confirmed the signing of the popular boxer on their website.

Hardy, 34, a former amateur National Champion and NYC Golden Gloves Champion, carries an undefeated record of 18-0 in the boxing ring. She currently holds the WBC international female featherweight and super bantamweight titles and has a background in kickboxing and Muay Thai. “The Heat” is a native of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Invicta FC 21 will take place Saturday, Jan. 14 from the historic Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. The event will air live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. An opponent for Hardy’s debut has not been finalized at this time.
