The UConn Women defeated the No.6 seed South Carolina 66-55 at Gampel Pavilion on Monday night to notch their 100th consecutive.  Gabby Williams had a huge impact on the game. The junior forward had a career-high 26 points to go with 14 rebounds.

The Huskies (25-0) have not lost since November 2014, in overtime at Stanford.  A previous 90-game Huskies win streak (which surpassed the UCLA men’s team’s record 88-game win streak from 1971-74) was bettered last month by UConn’s current streak. If not for the 2014 Stanford defeat, the Huskies could be on a 147-game run.

UConn is pursuing a fifth straight national title, and 12th overall.
