Against Chicago on July 14, Charles hauled in 19 boards, surpassing Elena Baranova’s single-game record of 18 rebounds set back on August 20, 2005. Her massive rebounding night also vaulted her past Tari Phillips for the all-time Liberty record for a career. I just 3-plus seasons in New York, Charles now has 1,089 boards, while Phillips now sits in second at 1,077. Charles already ranks 8th in WNBA history with 2,499 rebounds in her career and her career average of 10.1
