LONDON/DOHA, May 26: In a move sensitive to the questions being posed around its bid to host the 2022 World Cup finals, Qatar’s football authorities has created a committee aimed, eventually, of overseeing the launch of a women’s league.

The Qatar Football Association and Qatar Olympic Committee has joined forced to designate the Qatar Women’s Sports Committee as responsible for the development of the women’s game.
