Lindsey Vonn wins her fifth consecutive Downhill World Cup Title

2012, Sochi, Russia, FIS World Cup Alpine Skiing, Vonn (USA) with this 3rd place finish, wins her 5th straight Downhill World Cup title, tying the record.

German rival and friend Maria Hoefl-Riesch won the official downhill test on the 2014 Sochi Olympics course, Elizabeth Goergl of Austria finished second and Vonn settled for third.
