Heather Hardy Wins Again, Announces MMA Debut

Brooklyn’s own Heather ‘The Heat’ Hardy (20-0, 4KO’s) took on Hungarian Edina Kiss (14-3, 8KO’s) at the historic Paramount Theater on the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University on Thursday night in an eight-round featherweight matchup.  From the opening round, as is her style, Hardy was active, connecting on body shots to her experienced opponent.

Hardy’s bout was the main event of the evening and the crowd buzzed with anticipation.  In the end, all three judges scored in favor of the Brooklyn native, 80-72, 80-72, 79-73.

During her post-fight interview, Hardy announced that she would be making her much anticipated MMA debut in Madison Square Garden on Saturday, June 24.

Heather Hardy may have loss against her previous MMA opponent, Kristina Williams, but she showed a lot of heart and toughness. The way Hardy reacted on social media shows her determination to get back to training and be ready for another attempt to climb back towards a MMA victory. Can’t wait to see her improvement in the next fight!
