FIS World Cup Alpine Skiing, Julie Mancuso (USA) wins parallels, Lindsey Vonn gets third

The World Cup’s top racers were looking forward to the 2012 City Event in Moscow for several weeks before it finally came to fruition on 21st February – the only parallel City Event in the program this season after the cancellation of the Munich event on New Year’s Day.

2012, Moscow,Russia, FIS World Cup Alpine Skiing, Mancuso (USA) was able to beat out all the competition in parallels to secure a victory.

2012, Moscow,Russia, FIS World Cup Alpine Skiing,Kirchgasser (AUT) finished the parallel slalom 2nd after losing to Mancuso (USA) in the final round.

2012, Moscow,Russia, FIS World Cup Alpine Skiing, Lindsey Vonn (USA) finished 3rd in the parallels. Vonn lost to fellow American Mancuso (USA) but was able to hold on to beat Riesch(GER).
