History: The United States holds a 9-5 advantage in Solheim Cup competition.
Entering the final day of the 2015 Solheim Cup the European team lead 10-6. The Europeans only needed four points to retain the cup which left the Americans with their work cut out for them during the singles matches. On Sunday, the United States won eight of the dozen single matches to reclaim the Solheim Cup! Winning 14 1/2 – 13 ½, in a dramatic comeback, this was the first win for the American’s since 2009 at Rich Harvest Farms in Chicago, Illinois.
