With this victory over the Atlanta Dream, the Liberty established a season-high in point with 91. Led by Cappie Pondexter‘s game high 25 points, the Liberty established it’s first win streak of the season (2 games), and tied the season series with Atlanta at 1-1.  .”Sharing the wealth” should be NY’s new motto.  The Liberty are now 3-0 on the season when four players hit double-digits in scoring (Pondexter 25, Mitchell 11, McCarville & McWilliams-Franklin 10 pts each).

For the fourth time in ten games, Atlanta’s  Sancho Lyttle was a double-double star, with 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Teammate Erika DeSouza had a team-high 21 points.  Angel McCoughtry had a quite night dropping in just 12 points.
