Interviewed at the AAU James E. Sullivan Award ceremony, Speedskater Brittany Bowe talks about her start in speedskating, being nominated for the prestigious award and a word of advice for little girls.

Olympic Speedskater Brittany Bowe was one of four finalists on hand in New York for the presentation of the AAU James E. Sullivan Award.

2015 at Glance:

Bowe skated to gold medals in the 2015 World Single Distance Championships in the 1000 and 1500m. She won the 2015 World Sprint Championships and, for her performance in the 1000m competition, Bowe was awarded the Oscar Mathisen Award, presented to the most outstanding speedskating performance of the season.
