ALPINE SKIING: Maria Hoefl-Riesch (GER) wins first Downhill of season

2012, Sochi, Russia, FIS World Cup Alpine Skiing, Maria Hoefl-Riesch (GER) last seasons World Cup winner gets her first Downhill run of this season, she ranks 2nd in Downhill (359 points to Vonn’s 590).

Lindsey Vonn (USA) still maintains a comfortable World-Cup overall lead with a healthy 1442 points.  Tina Maze (SLO) is currently second with 994 points and Hoefl-Riesch is third with 956 points.
